부탁드립니다
FINDINGS:
The liver is 12.0 cm in length. There is mild, diffusely heterogeneous coarse hepatic
echotexture. Findings may represent underlying hepatocellular disease. No focal masses
seen. The liver surface is smooth. Normal antegrade, hepatopetal flow is seen in the main
portal vein. The hepatic veins appear unremarkable.
There is a small 3 mm echogenic focus without posterior acoustic shadowing. It is nonmobile.
Findings suggesting a gallbladder polyp, unchanged from previous. No gallstones seen. The
gallbladder wall measures 2 mm in thickness. No sonographic Murphy's sign. No
pericholecystic fluid. The common bile duct measures 3 mm in diameter. No intra or
extrahepatic bile duct dilatation.
The spleen measures 7.8 cm in length. No focal masses seen.
The right kidney measures 10.8 x 4.2 x 5.4 cm. No abnormal masses or calculi seen. No
hydronephrosis or hydroureter.
The left kidney measures 10.8 x 4.5 x 5.1 cm. No abnormal masses or calculi seen. No
hydronephrosis or hydroureter.
The pancreas, abdominal aorta, and IVC appear unremarkable.
No ascites.
IMPRESSION:
1. Stable appearing gallbladder polyp measuring up to 3 mm. Per ACR guidelines, no followup
is recommended if patient is low risk. One may consider follow-up ultrasound in 1 year.
2. Mild coarse heterogeneous hepatic echotexture may represent mild underlying
hepatocellular disease. No focal masses seen.
3. Overall, there are no significant changes when compared with the prior exam.
Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the care of this patient.
